Our inpatient programs are designed to offer both individual and group therapy in a safe environment. Our team of board-certified psychiatrists and clinicians focuses on mental wellness, while our team of internal medicine physicians and other medical specialty providers ensures overall medical health and wellness.

Our inpatient programs can be designed to serve a number of specialty populations.

Our goal is to bring quality mental health services to meet unmet needs within each community that we serve. Specialty programming and units are developed as needed based on our analysis of the current service market and feedback from the community. These programs are thoroughly researched to design population-specific content.

Specialty programs can include:

  • Advanced medical complexity

  • Trauma and victimization

  • Active-duty military programming

  • PTSD

  • Military Sexual Trauma

  • Eating disorders

  • Substance abuse and detoxification

  • Child and adolescent mental health

Partial Hospitalization Program

The Partial Hospitalization Program provides a middle ground between full inpatient care and traditional outpatient therapy. It’s ideal for those who need more support than outpatient services but do not require 24-hour inpatient care. Our PHP offers a safe and supportive environment where individuals can work on their mental health while maintaining some normalcy in their lives.

Outpatient programs allow patients to live at home and continue normal activities of daily living while continuing treatment and encouraging the successful management of mental health and chemical dependency symptoms. Patients are supported through group and individual therapy, medication management, education, individualized treatment planning, and discharge planning. Regular communication with families and referral sources on progress and treatment helps to support the patient’s long-term voyage to wellness.

PAM Voyages Behavioral Health can offer ECT treatment on an inpatient and outpatient basis. When therapy and/or medications have not helped to improve mental health conditions, ECT is a safe, effective option for a doctor to discuss with their patient.

Electroconvulsive therapy treatment (ECT) is a procedure performed by a physician which stimulates the brain and causes changes in brain chemistry which helps to quickly reverse symptoms of certain mental health conditions.

  • Medication-resistant depression
  • Psychosis
  • Catatonia
  • Multiple hospital visits for the same mental disorder
  • Multiple suicide attempts

Med-care Inpatient Program

Our team specializes in treating the behavioral health needs of patients with medically complex challenges. We recognize that patients facing medical challenges still need quality mental health services, so we have built a foundation of competency to coordinate care of a patient’s medical and mental health needs.

Our aim is to provide therapeutic mental health treatment in a safe environment for those with co-occurring medical issues. At PAM Voyages, we will coordinate mental health services for patients with needs for oxygen, catheters, tracheotomy care, intravenous antibiotics, specialized medical equipment, physical therapy, and other coordinating medical issues.  We will also collaborate with primary physicians and specialists to assist patients with varying medical challenges to receive the mental health assistance that is needed.

Senior-Care Program

Seniors face unique mental health and medical challenges and our team is skilled in caring for older adults. PAM Voyages Senior-CARE program provides a healing environment with therapeutic groups geared specifically toward the unique challenges which older adults face. With a geriatrician on-staff, our medical and behavioral teams have decades of experience assisting seniors on the path to healing.

Over 20% of older adults suffer from a mental or neurological disorder with the most common disorders being dementia and depression. Our team has developed programming specifically for seniors to address risk factors for mental health problems such as life stressors, loss of capacity, decline in functioning ability, grief and anxiety, bereavement, loneliness, in addition to substance abuse problems.
